The Promoters License Bond is necessary to conduct Athletic Event Exhibitions; because of this, this Bond is also referred to as an Athletic Exhibition Bond.  Historically these Promoters License Bonds have been used for Boxing and Wrestling events.  With the growing popularity of Mixed Martial Arts, known as MMA, several states have included Promoters License Bond requirements for Karate, Kickboxing, and other Unarmed Combat Sports.
