Surety Bonds

ATTENTION: California Foreclosure Consultants...

“An Urgent Notice To All Foreclosure Consultants...”

If You're A Foreclosure Consultant, You Have Just Been Impacted By New Civil Code Section 2945.45(a)(2), And This Is The Most Important Letter You Could Possibly Read...

Dear Friend,

Did you know that a recent law requires that foreclosure consultants must register with the Attorney General's Office AND obtain a $100,000 surety bond?

Did you know that if you're a foreclosure consultant, you must meet these requirements by July 1, 2009?

You Have Less Than A Month...

That's right... because of this new law, you must act quickly to retain your license.

If you're anything like most consultants we've spoken to, you might be stressed out by this... asking yourself things like:

  • How do I register with the Attorney General's Office?
  • What's a surety bond... and how do I get one?
  • How much will all of this cost me?
  • Is this even legit? How do I know I really have to do this?
Don't worry you're not alone. Many foreclosure consultants are feeling the same anxiety, and we're here to help.

It's Legit...

First, let's clear up the question of the legitimacy of this law. It is legit, and we've provided a link for you to read about the code on the Attorney General's web site:

http://ag.ca.gov/consumers/general/foreclosure_reg.php

According to their site, "After July 1, 2009, with certain limited exceptions, it is illegal to operate as a mortgage foreclosure consultant in California unless the foreclosure consultant has obtained from the Department of Justice a Certificate of Registration as a Mortgage Foreclosure Consultant."

It is most certainly a legitimate requirement, and the deadline is approaching!

We're Here To Help

We work with consultants just like you every day, and we're here to help you!

First, you must have a surety bond on file with the Secretary of State before you can register with the Attorney General's Office.

A surety bond is a financial bond, and the application is much like a loan application. Apply as quickly as possible to ensure that you have time to address any credit issues that might come up, so you can get the best price possible.

Not sure? Click here to read more about this on the Attorney General's web site. They recommend you submit your application to register with them by June 15, 2009, after you have a surety bond.

How Much Will This Cost Me?

You can get the required $100,000 surety bond for as little as $1,000/year. The sooner you apply, the better your chance of getting a low price.

Most applications are approved within 24 hours... meaning you won't have to wait very long!

P.S. - Many consultants call us at the last minute, needing to get their bond, and needing it fast. Regrettably, they waited to long, and they don't have time to correct any financial issues on their application, so they're stuck with a higher price.

Don't wait too long... and be careful who you apply with. Some surety agencies charge way too much just for you to apply! We don't charge you anything except for the surety bond cost and shipping.

We're here to help you, and we'll help you through this. Click on the link below to begin your application:
